ABOUT US

Brompton Swimming Club (BSC) was formed in 2006 to meet the demand for additional swimming opportunities once children had outgrown the Virgin Active Swim School program at Fulham Pools. The club has evolved rapidly from a non-competitive community club into a small but high achieving team lead by a committed core of passionate and knowledgeable coaches.

We have a comprehensive competitive program with a membership of more than 200 swimmers across 9 squads (including a small Masters cohort) that caters to all levels from early development to the County, Regional and National competition standard.

Accredited by Swim England, the club competes in the London Region and Middlesex County Swimming Championships and races annually in the National Arena League and National Junior Arena League competitions.

Having routinely produced National qualifiers since 2013, the club celebrated its first National medalist of many in 2017 and is currently represented by athletes on the Swim England National Performance Squad and Para-Swimming National Talent Program.

Club aims

Brompton Swimming Club aims to provide an enjoyable, healthy, and supportive environment where dedicated swimmers can thrive. The club actively encourages swimmers of all ages and abilities to take part in regular competitions, giving every swimmer a chance to enjoy the many aspects and benefits of sport while learning to balance high level training with academics. We are most proud of the number of swimmers we have studying at the world's top universities, where most continue to excel both in the pool and in the classroom.
